In ancient Egypt, legends tell of a forbidden game played only by royalty. Players work together to build a pyramid of blocks. They then compete to assemble *three Poker hands* by taking the pyramid apart.

Nekonyancer!!! Unfortunately, this tutorial cannot utilize interactive elements, but we can still learn this great game!2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
NekonyancerFor the first half of the game, players will take turns constructing the pyramid by taking [red]*blocks from their hands*[/red] and placing them onto *[blue]the pyramid.*[/blue]3archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000board 2 card_2 1 card_4 1 card_5 1 card_3 1 card_1 1 card_6 1 card_13 1 card_8 1 card_7 1 card_12 1 card_14 1 card_15 1 card_10 1 card_9 1 card_11 1
NekonyancerFirst, we'll select this cube and look at it...4card_1000card_1 1
NekonyancerHmm, *6 of diamonds.* As you probably guessed from the name, Pyramid Poker uses some mechanics from standard playing cards.
Next, we'll place this block onto the pyramid...5card_16284fa8d91ffb00
NekonyancerThis block only has 6 of diamonds printed on *the side facing us.* The other side is blank, so our opponent, who is sitting across from us, *can't see what it is!*6cardplaced_316284fa8f654b100
Nekonyancer*6 of diamonds.* As you might have guessed from the name, this game is partially based on common playing cards!
Next, we have to place this tile onto the pyramid.7card_16284fa8d91ffb00
NekonyancerFor the first half of the game, players will take turns constructing the pyramid by taking [red]*blocks from their hands*[/red] and placing them onto *[blue]the pyramid.*[/blue]8archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment000
NekonyancerFirst, we'll select this cube and look at it...9card_1000
NekonyancerSimilarly, we can't see what this tile is, but our opponent can!1cardplaced_416284ff09200fb00cardplaced_41 1
NekonyancerNext, we'll reveal this tile...1card_26284ff0920a6d00card_2 1
NekonyancerSince there are [blue]*two blocks next to each other,*[/blue] a [red]*new space*[/red] has opened up on top of them!
We're not going to place there though...2archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment628507abd08e400cell_3_2 1 cardplaced_31 2 cardplaced_41 2
NekonyancerThe game will continue in this way until both players' hands are exhausted, and the pyramid is fully constructed, concluding the first phase of the game!
I'll use some tutorial magic to fast forward to the second phase now.3cardplaced_51628507ae1d26d00

Okay! Now that the pyramid is complete, it's time to make *poker hands!* On your turn, you will choose one block from the pyramid and place it in [blue]*one of your three poker hands.*[/blue]
This is done *15 times,* so each player will end up with *three five-card hands.*4archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment628507ae1d26d00hand_1_1 2 hand_2_1 2 hand_3_1 2 cell_3_3 aHR0cHM6Ly94LmJvYXJkZ2FtZWFyZW5hLm5ldC9kYXRhL3R1dG9yaWFscy9odHRwc19fX3NuaXBib2FyZC5pb19aYnl1WVcuanBn/0/0 board aHR0cHM6Ly94LmJvYXJkZ2FtZWFyZW5hLm5ldC9kYXRhL3R1dG9yaWFscy9odHRwc19fX3NuaXBib2FyZC5pb19LQ0cyRW4uanBn/0/0
NekonyancerWe'll start with *[blue]this block...*[/blue]

NekonyancerIt turned out to be a *10 of spades!*

We'll place it in hand 1!6archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment628507ae1d26d00cell_3_3 aHR0cHM6Ly94LmJvYXJkZ2FtZWFyZW5hLm5ldC9kYXRhL3R1dG9yaWFscy9odHRwc19fX3NuaXBib2FyZC5pb19LZUhKbFAuanBn/0/0 board aHR0cHM6Ly94LmJvYXJkZ2FtZWFyZW5hLm5ldC9kYXRhL3R1dG9yaWFscy9odHRwc19fX3NuaXBib2FyZC5pb19iMzBXQ3IuanBn/0/0
NekonyancerNext, our opponent is claiming the Queen of Hearts!

NekonyancerBy the way, [blue]*this block is a joker.*[/blue] When it is selected, the player draws three unused blocks from the game box and places one of those three in one of their hands!

Play will continue until the pyramid has been completely deconstructed and both players have *three complete 5-card hands!*

NekonyancerOur hands will then be compared to the opponent's - hand 1 to hand 1, hand 2 to hand 2, hand 3 to hand 3.
*[blue]Whoever wins two out of three hands is the winner!*[/blue]9archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment628507ae1d26d00
NekonyancerIf you're not too familiar with the strengths of poker hands, here's a handy chart, going from weakest at the top to strongest at the bottom.

NekonyancerAt the end, we'll have a hand that looks like this:

And here's the opponent's hand:

Our *Hand 1* is a full house, beating the opponent's high card.11archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment628507ae1d26d00cell_4_3 aHR0cHM6Ly94LmJvYXJkZ2FtZWFyZW5hLm5ldC9kYXRhL3R1dG9yaWFscy9odHRwc19fX3NuaXBib2FyZC5pb19ydXg2U0suanBn/0/0 board aHR0cHM6Ly94LmJvYXJkZ2FtZWFyZW5hLm5ldC9kYXRhL3R1dG9yaWFscy9odHRwc19fX3NuaXBib2FyZC5pb19GaGUxckwuanBn/0/0

Our *Hand 2* is a pair of kings, which beats the opponent's pair of 2s. Our *Hand 3* is a high card, which lost to the opponent's straight.12archivecontrol_editmode_centercomment628507ae1d26d00
