A mad scientist named Dr Foo has built an unstable time machine, the Omniscience 2000, and is using it to hop between seven great Eras of history, spawning duplicates of himself and tearing open rifts in spacetime.
Those rifts are slowly shredding reality itself. If too many pile up on one Era, it turns into a Vortex, and if the universe accumulates too many Vortexes, everything is destroyed and the players lose together. Yes, the LOOP is a coop game! Standing in Dr Foo’s way is a ragtag squad of Time Agents, you and the other players, armed with a personal deck of quirky "Artifact”.
Each Agent's turn feels like a little adventure of its own. You hop from Era to Era, spending your Energy to move, then dip into you hand of cards to patch up rifts, take down Foo’s duplicates, or scrounge up more energy for later. With every turn that ticks by, Dr Foo grows bolder, spinning off more duplicates and hurling rifts into the timeline, forcing you and your team to stay one step ahead or watch the universe collapse.
Like in most coop games, there is one way to win and multiple ways to lose. Success means the team puts away four sabotaged pieces and therefore save spacetime, closing with a triumphant "K.U.D.O.S!" from headquarters and, well, some XP, but that’s a BGA exclusive... Failure means the Agency's wall of shame gains new names, and the universe quietly ceases to exist. NO PRESSURE… but… EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON YOU!
You’ll have a Designated Instructor accompanying you through the tutorial if you want to get acquainted with how to defeat Dr Foo and his terrible time machine. Otherwise, the first time portal is waiting for you.

Un om de știință nebun pe nume Dr. Foo a construit o mașină a timpului instabilă, Omniscience 2000, și o folosește pentru a sări între șapte mari ere ale istoriei, generând duplicate ale sale și deschizând fisuri în spațiu-timp.
Aceste rupturi distrug încetul cu încetul însăși realitatea. Dacă se acumulează prea multe într-o singură Eră, aceasta se transformă într-un Vortex, iar dacă universul acumulează prea multe Vortexuri, totul este distrus și jucătorii pierd împreună. Da, LOOP este un joc cooperativ! În calea Dr. Foo stă o echipă eterogenă de Agenți ai Timpului, tu și ceilalți jucători, înarmați cu un pachet personal de „Artefacte” ciudate.
Fiecare rundă a Agentului pare o mică aventură în sine. Sari de la o Eră la alta, cheltuindu-ți Energia pentru a te mișca, apoi folosești mâna de cărți pentru a repara fisuri, a elimina duplicatele lui Foo sau a aduna mai multă energie pentru mai târziu. Cu fiecare rundă care trece, Dr. Foo devine mai îndrăzneț, creând tot mai multe duplicate și aruncând fisuri în linie temporală, forțându-te pe tine și echipa ta să fiți cu un pas înainte sau să priviți cum universul se prăbușește.
Ca în majoritatea jocurilor cooperative, există o singură modalitate de a câștiga și mai multe modalități de a pierde. Succesul înseamnă că echipa pune deoparte patru piese sabotate și, prin urmare, economisește spațiu-timp, încheind cu un „FELICITĂRI!” triumfător din partea sediului central și, ei bine, niște XP, dar asta e o exclusivitate BGA... Eșecul înseamnă că zidul rușinii al Agenției primește nume noi, iar universul încetează în liniște să existe. FĂRĂ PRESIUNE... dar... TOTUL DEPINDE DE TINE!
Vei avea un Instructor Desemnat care te va însoți pe parcursul tutorialului dacă vrei să te familiarizezi cu modul de a-l învinge pe Dr. Foo și teribila lui mașină a timpului. În caz contrar, primul portal al timpului te așteaptă.
