The text: "You must give the action card to a player" should indicate which action card its talking about. I just opened up my game and was greeted with this text and didn't know what it meant. This is my first game, so there's no doubt I will be more careful next time. But what I chose to do this time was to give the card to myself. I thought it was a Draw 3 card, but it turned out to be a FREEZE card which I absolutely didn't want to give to myself.
It would have really helped if the action text said "You must give the FREEZE action card to a player". Or "Choose a player to give the FREEZE card" or something more descriptive. -

But for FREEZE or FLIP THREE, the generic text "${you} must give the action card to " is used instead. I second your suggestion to have different texts for all three different action cards.

I had assigned a Flip 3 to myself and flipped: 1. Freeze, 2. "10", 3. Flip Three
Both the freeze and flip 3 were set aside, then I had the instruction: "You must give the action card to [player list] but there was no way to know which card it was indicating so I hoped they were in the order that they flipped up and tried to assign the Freeze to one of my opponents but it gave the Flip Three instead. I see there's another discussion about the proper order of resolution, but having the instruction line say "You must give the FLIP THREE card to [player list] would solve this!
